Leave of Absence
A scholarly leave of absence for Dr. E. Gerald Hurst, Associate
Professor of Decision Sciences in the Standing Faculty, for the
academic year 1984-85 without salary; appropriate benefits continued.
A leave of absence for employment elsewhere for Dr. Louis W. Miller,
Associate Professor of Decision Sciences in the Standing Faculty for
the academic year 1984-85 without salary, any benefits continued are
without University contribution.
A scholarly leave of absence for Dr. David N. Ness, Associate
Professor of Decision Sciences in the Standing Faculty, for the
academic year 1984-85 without salary; appropriate benefits continued.
Secondary Appointments
The continuation of a secondary appointment as Professor of Decision
Sciences for Dr. William F. Hamilton, Ralph Landau Professor of
Management and Technology in the Standing Faculty, for three years
effective July 1, 1984 with voting rights.
The secondary appointment of Dr. Howard Kunreuther, Professor of
Decision Sciences in the Standing Faculty, as Professor of Public
Policy and Management for three years effective July 1, 1984 with
voting rights.
Resignations
The resignation of Dr. Simon Benninga, Assistant Professor of
Finance in the Standing Faculty, effective June 30, 1984.
Associated Faculty
Reappointments
The reappointment of Dr. Yosi Ben-Dov as Visiting Assistant
Professor of Statistics in the Associated Faculty for one year
effective July 1, 1984 contingent on an appropriate visa (full
salary with health and life insurance benefits; not in tenure
probationary status in this appointment).
The reappointment of Dr. Isik Inselbag as Visiting Associate
Professor of Finance in the Associated Faculty for one year
effective July 1, 1984 contingent on the appropriate visa (full
salary with health benefits; not in tenure probationary status in
this appointment).
The reappointment of Dr. John R. Percival as Adjunct Associate
Professor of Finance in the Associated Faculty for three years or
for the duration of his administrative appointment, whichever is the
shorter period of time, effective July 1, 1984 (partial salary; not
in tenure probationary status in this appointment).
